F.A.Q.s

What time are services?
Sunday Mornings:
9 am — Traditional Service/Sunday School A
10:30am — Casual Service/Sunday School B
Wednesday Nights:
4:45pm — Fellowship Meal
6:00pm — Kids, Preschool, and Youth Bible Studies, Adult Bible Study
What do you mean by “Traditional Service” and “Casual Service”?
Our Traditional Service is an uncomplicated service filled with hymns, traditionally arranged choruses, Southern Gospel favorites, and choir anthems.
Our Casual Service is a time for worship that is comfortable and inviting, where we sing new songs of praise along with familiar hymns rearranged for a new generation, lead by a praise band and celebration choir.
What do you have for kids and youth?
Our children and preschoolers meet in a bright and colorful, newly renovated space that is just for them! Our students meet upstairs in the main building in what we refer to as “The Attic.” Please see our children and student pages for more information about the ministries going on for their age group. Our babies, preschoolers & kindergarteners, 1-5th graders and youth all are in Sunday School at 9 am. During the 1030am service, we have childcare for ages 2 and under, preschool worship for our 3 year olds–kindergarteners, and children’s worship for our 1st-5th graders.
What do I need to wear to Sunday morning services?
Most people wear business casual attire, there a few that wear suits, and some that wear jeans.  Wear what is comfortable for you but appropriate.
Do you have Sunday School?
Yes. We sometimes call it Bible Study or Small Groups. We have classes for all ages. You can check out the Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings to be directed to a class good for you.
Where do I enter?
We have guest parking spaces at both our Main Street entrance and the entrance on Shevel Drive. There is a Welcome Desk on the 2nd floor of our main building, just outside the sanctuary.
What do you believe?
We are a Southern Baptist Church and hold to the beliefs stated in the Baptist Faith and Message, available here.
How do I join the church?
You can become a member of FBCG in the following ways:
–By public confession of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and conformity to His example of immersion baptism.
–By transfer of your membership from another Baptist church.
–By your statement of confession of saving faith in Jesus Christ and immersion baptism in a non-Baptist denomination or church.
–By previous confession of saving faith in Jesus Christ and willingness to follow His example of immersion baptism.

Does the church offer piano lessons for children? If so, will you please provide any information you have regarding the piano lessons? Thank you so much!

      Krista,

We are not currently offering piano lessons through our church. If you are looking for recommendations for individuals for lessons, we may be able to provide a couple of names to you.
